#ZtoryNight 02 | Alone Together

「當我們都一起經歷著孤獨，我們還是孤獨一個嗎？」

Alone Together 這展覽名字是我們在3年前沒有疫情的世界時所構想的。當時我們在策展期間，看著 Mateusz Kolek 一幅幅作品，發現畫中的角色很多時候都是獨個兒出現在那結合現實和想像的場景裡，一個站在金魚街上的男人、一隻坐在的士上的貓….. 這些孤獨的背影藏著怎樣的故事？他的作品總讓我們想停下來想像。

在這次展覽裡，我們如三年前般再次為畫作寫上故事，製作成聲音導航，讓大家聽著故事和問題跟我們一起想像更多。

聲音這部分，的確在此展覽佔了很重要的角色。因此，我們特別與 FM BELOWGROUND 再次合作，於 19Aug 舉行音樂故事夜 #Ztorynight 02，並邀請三位本地音樂人： Sabrina 張蔓莎、Anna hisbbuR 和 Jerry Haha，以音樂連結故事回應 ALONE TOGETHER 這主題，讓大家在這展覽空間裡，透過藝術、故事和音樂帶動更多想像。 MUSIC ON. WORLD OFF. 期待在 #ZtoryNight 的晚上與你一起打開音樂，放下世界。

“When we all experience loneliness together, are we still alone?”

The title of the exhibition, “Alone Together” was conceived 3 years ago when we were in a world without a pandemic. During the curatorial period, we looked into each of Mateusz Kolek’s works and found that the characters in the paintings often appeared alone in scenes which combined reality and imagination : A man standing on Goldfish Street, a cat standing on a taxi… What kind of stories are hidden behind these lonely backs? His work always drives our imagination. As we did three years ago, we once again created stories for the paintings and made them into audio guide, let everyone imagine more with us through stories. Sound does play a very important role in this exhibition. Therefore, we are specially collaborating with FM BELOWGROUND again to hold another #Ztorynight this coming Friday (Aug19) and invite three local musicians: Sabrina Cheung, Anna hisbbuR and Jerry Haha to play music connecting the message of the artshow. Let music stimulate our imagination towards the stories behind the artworks. MUSIC ON. WORLD OFF. Looking forward to turning on the music and dropping the world with you on #ZtoryNight.
